Laszlofy Botond: „Am jucat fără inimă, fără voinţă în apărare”

Antrenorul ciucanilor, Laszlofy Botond, a fost dezamăgit la finalul meciului pierdut de echipa sa la Târgu Jiu considerând că jucătorii nu i-au respectat indicaţiile.
„Nu am văzut nimic în primul sfert din modul cum am pregătit meciul. Am jucat fără inimă, fără voinţă în apărare. E inexplicabil cum putem să lăsăm echipa adversă să înscrie de 2 puncte la 73 % în final de meci. Şi jucătorii sunt conştienţi că nu o să ajungem prea departe cu acest joc în apărare. Noi am jucat foarte prost, a jucat şi Energia bine. Dacă-i lăsăm să arunce liber, comitem greşeli copilăreşti, nu închidem jocul de tranziţie e uşor pentru fiecare echipă. Ne trebuie mai multă voinţă şi mai mult cap în ambele faze ale jocului”, a declarat Botond explicând eşecul celor de la BC Miercurea Ciuc în faţa Energiei, scor 101-78, în cadrul etapei a doua a Diviziei A de baschet masculin.

Keravnos Strovolou of Head Coach Yiannaras decided to set free the first American player who actually register in his team as the American shooting guard Louis Darby (196-G-84, college: Long Beach St.) was set free and is officially history for the Strovolos team, and the replacement already played in the victorious game against AEL Limassol which took place this afternoon for the 25th Basketball tournament which is organized by Keravnos Strovolou with Kolossos Rodou and Intercollege Etha being the other two teams which participate in the tournament. The American player in his debute scored 2 points in the game 81-75 for the team of Keravnos.
Winsome Frazier (193-G/F-82, college: Mississippi St.) is a 29 years old guard who spent most of his career in the German and Hungarian leagues, this season was tested by Coach Linardos in Marousi but was found not good enough so he was set free after a months’ time in the Greek courts. It is worth mentioned that Winsom’s position is mostly in the 3 as a small forward and less as a shooting guard.
